Background
In 2003, Livesay CPA Services began serving its clients' accounting support and tax needs. In 2005, we formed The Livesay Group, PLLC to better align ourselves with the needs of our clients.

Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients’ needs, thorough research, and sound analysis. Our firm is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.

Our focus as a team is a healthy work / life balance. We strive to ensure that our families are well taken care of as well as our clients. Our Team
Managing Partner, Bobby Livesay graduated in 1995 with honors in Accounting from the University of Kentucky. With experience at Coopers & Lybrand as well as controllership experience in the technology industry, Bobby has a wide range of experience as a leader. He and his wife, Kristina, have a beautiful daughter, Libby.

Bob Livesay is a lifelong resident of Lexington, KY. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Accounting, and received his CPA in 1976. Bob worked for Potter and Company for 10 years before moving to Host Communications, where he has worked for 27 years. Now, he is very pleased to join The Livesay Group, PLLC and be able to work with his son, Bobby. Bob's primary experience is in the personal income tax preparation, nonprofit organizations and elder care. Bob also has a daughter, Laura, and is married to Kim Livesay

Dannette received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Georgetown College in 1995. Having worked in several different industries (manufacturing, non- profit, etc.), Dannette comes with a wide variety of experience. She is married to Brad and they have two sons, Owen and Judd.

Christa Corbin is a 1996 graduate of Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a minor in Computer Information Systems. Her professional experience includes extensive knowledge in the areas of corporate accounting, financial statement preparations, financial analysis, and cash management in manufacturing, private, and public companies. Christa and her husband of seven years live in Lexington with their daughter, Brooke, and two dogs.

Carah L. Boggess holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and with departmental honors. She has been a practicing CPA since 2003. Carah is married to her husband of eight years, Todd Boggess. They have one son, Carter, who is two years old. Carah and her family attend Southland Christian Church and enjoy the outdoors.

Dianne Skaggs has 15 years of income tax preparation experience in the personal, small business, rental property and non-profit organizaton areas and 11 years of public utility accounting and regulatory experience. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in the areas of finance and accounting. Dianne and her husband, Forest, have two sons, Andrew, a graduate of Georgia Tech, and Blake, a student at the Art Institute of Atlanta.

Kimberly is marrried to Greg and has two grown stepdaughters. She is active in the community and volunteers at various animal organziations. Kim and Greg enjoy nature and the simple things of life - hiking, reading, and going to local state parks. Kimberly joins us to assist in managing the administration of the firm.

Stacey Covington graduated in 1991 from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. She has 10 years of public accounting experience with an emphasis in audit, including five years with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and five years with a firm in Little Rock, AR. Stacey has served clients in a variety of industries including manufacturing, insurance, construction contractor, property management, retail, healthcare, financial institutions and not-for-profit. Stacey and her husband Tommy have two children, Matt and Aly.

Adriane Russell graduated in 1989 from Pikeville College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting. Her 15 year career includes corporate accounting and financial analysis in both manufacturing and quick service restaurant industries. Adriane and her husband, Mike, keep very busy with their three daughters: Haley (14), Summer (11) and Liv (7). The Russells are all very active in their church, Centenary United Methodist.
